Generic Star Trek Book Club Badge

The people have voted and the results are in! For the month of January, we will be reading and discussing Q Squared by Peter David.

If you plan to participate in January’s read, then you should purchase your copy of the book before December 31, 2013. On December 31, the reading and discussion schedule will be posted as a post, and in the January Book Club forum. You can read the full schedule here. To ensure you don’t miss any announcement, such as the discussion schedule and when new discussion topics are posted, then I suggest you subscribe to the United Federation of Planets’ RSS.

Don’t forget! Aside from receiving the special book club badge the first time I see you talk in the forum about January’s book, you will also receive points each time you start a weekly discussion topic, and respond to any of the topics, which will lead to ranks. Not only will I be leading weekly discussions, but all people who are participating are invited to start weekly discussion topics. You can find out more about the ranks and rewards on the achievements page.

To participate, you’ll also have to register to become a member of the United Federation of Planets and you must activate your account. If you don’t see your activation email, please check your spam folder.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to leave them in the comments below.
