Just want to gauge interest in doing a group weekly re-watch of TOS. It’s up in the air if I’d turn these into articles (I may start a second Star Trek writing gig soon, so this part is TBD) but I thought we’d start at the beginning, discuss the themes of the episode, and discuss if that theme is still relevant 50 years later, point out things that wouldn’t be included today because of how we evolved in certain areas (like what exactly consent means) and similar such things.
Anyway, choose an answer in the poll and add any additional thoughts!

I’ve completed again TOS just a few weeks ago and thought to myself, probably, this time for good. Although I can’t compare to any other TV show that is so old, I don’t think TOS aged well. While I’d be very interested to learn your thoughts and what other people here think about TOS from a modern perspective, I’m afraid that my posts wouldn’t be too nice.

They don’t have to be nice. As long as the criticism is construction and thoughtful, I fully welcome it!
If TOS is decided a “no”, then maybe we can do TNG or ENT. The only series I can’t sit through another rewatch is DS9. If someone wants to do a weekly with that, they are free to take the lead because there is simply no way I can sit through it again.
